Pricing: one fee per applied fix that shows a saving

No retainer. No charge from us for the assessment. You get a list of fixes with a monthly saving for each. Our fee is 10% of the annual saving confirmed on each fix you apply. It is due once for each listed fix you apply within 90 days, and never more than the list stated.

Cloud cost assessment

Free

A read-only review and a written, dated fix list. You don't commit to applying anything. The assessment is free from us. Cloud providers can bill per-request fees to your own account for the read calls the assessment makes.

Fix list

Each fix names the resource, the change, and the monthly saving

The saving is taken from your own current bill. It is our estimate, not a guarantee. The list is yours to keep.

Fee

10% of the fix's confirmed annual saving, for each fix you apply

The monthly saving the check confirms, times 12, then 10% of that. If the check confirms less than your list stated, the fee is lower. It is never based on more than the list stated. One fee per applied fix, due once, after the check. It isn't a share of your total bill, and it isn't charged monthly. How the fee is invoiced is stated in the written agreement.

Window

90 days from the date on the list

A listed fix carries a fee only if you apply it within 90 days after the list is delivered, unless we agree a different window in writing.

Check

One time, at your next invoice after the change

It confirms the fix was applied and measures the saving. It sets the fee. It isn't ongoing.

After the check

The fee stands

If the saving later shrinks or ends, the fee doesn't change, and there is no credit or refund. We correct our own billing errors.

No applied fix, or no saving

No fee

A fix you don't apply, or one that shows no saving at the check, costs nothing.

Billing evidence request

12 months after each fix is applied

We may ask for invoices or cost reports to confirm which listed fixes you applied and that the fee was right. It is a request, not monitoring, and not a second check. You choose how to share them. If the evidence shows a fee was wrong, we correct it. A fee you dispute follows the dispute steps in the written agreement.

What the assessment and the fixes don't include

Fee only on confirmed savings from fixes you apply, not on commitment discounts you already had.

No baseline to agree. No adjustment for changes in your usage. No ongoing monitoring. No retainer or subscription. No standing access: after the check we stop using your access and ask you to remove it.

When there's no fee for a fix

  • You didn't apply it.
  • You applied it after the 90 days.
  • It wasn't on the list we delivered.
  • The check shows no saving.
  • We don't charge twice for the same saving.

If you disagree

You can dispute a fee, or a request for billing evidence, in writing. We review the evidence with you and reply in writing. The written agreement sets out the steps if we still disagree.

Pricing questions

What is the "confirmed annual saving"?

It's the monthly saving the check confirms for a fix, times 12. The check reads your own invoice. The fee is 10% of it, and never based on more than the monthly saving on your list, so you know the most a fix can cost before you decide to apply it.

What if the saving is smaller than your list said?

The fee is 10% of the smaller, confirmed saving. If the check confirms no saving, there's no fee.

What if the saving goes away later?

The fee doesn't change. The check happens once, and we don't give credits or refunds for a saving that later shrinks or ends. We do correct our own billing errors.

Does my usage affect the fee?

No. We don't use a baseline and we don't adjust for changes in your usage. The fee is set by the one check. Changes in your usage after the check don't change it.

What if I apply a fix that isn't on your list?

There's no fee for it. A fee applies only to fixes on the list we delivered.

What if I apply a fix after the window?

There's no fee for it. The window is 90 days after the list is delivered.

Do I need to buy anything?

No. The assessment is free from us, and you owe us nothing unless you apply a fix from the list and the check confirms a saving. Cloud provider API charges for the assessment's read calls can still appear on your own cloud bill.
